Kaiya
in addition to being a first rate solo-performer equally
enjoys working within group connection with other artists,
such as her regular appearance as one of the leading
vocalists with 'Boney M' a well established group of great
appeal.
She
participates frequently in musical events and country tours.
World-traveler par excellence, no venue is too far or too
outlandish to her, such as the Falklands and Ascension
Islands, Colombo, Sri Lanka, Calcutta, Bombay, New Delhi,
Madras or Portugal, Germany, Finland. That's how she came to
work with artists like Aretha Franklin, James Brown, Chubby
Checker, Eddy Floyd, Percy Sledge, Jocelyn Brown, Love
Affair and Sweet.
Among
the venues being frequented are: Lisbon: Casino Solverde,
Helsinki: Hotelli Vaakuna, Vaasa: Hotelli Waskia, Savonlinna:
Kasino, Porvoo: Albert E, Figueria da Foz: Casino, London:
Cafe Royal, The Jazz Cafe, the Dorchester Hotel, Europa

And there were television appearances in "Pot of

BSB with the Eddie Floyd European Tour. She is equally in
demand at famous resorts, as Santa Lucia, Lavente Park,
Riviera, Panorama, Ses Estaques, Mallorca Sth, Mallorca E (Cala

BUILDING
A CAREER
Kaiya
developed and polished her performance as she went along and
established herself in the industry with agents and managers
alike as a highly dependable and sought after source of
delightful vocal entertainment.
How
did it all start? Kaiya's natural talent soon attracted
attention such as from the great voice consultant Jukka
Palsanen of Helsinki, who also helped Kaiya with writing
lyrics and the technique of recording. Initially she gained
a foothold in the industry by entering the jingle market.
And from there to her first single recording 'All Over
Again' on the Passion Label, widely received with a lot of
praise especially in London but also elsewhere.
And
she enjoyed much acclaim in the music press later with her
daring self penned CD 'Touch', which was broadcast on Radio
Freedom FM and Eclipse FM.
